Donald Rodney Leflore went to be with his Lord on Feb. 23, 2022 in Joplin, Mo., at the age of 65. He was born in Talihina, Okla., on Dec. 28, 1956 to Alice Lee Jacob and Alexander Leflore. Donald was a longtime minister of the Friendship Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Alice Letka; father, Alexander Leflore; sisters: Bertha Jacob, Elizabeth Dunham, Pauline Tom, Josephine Gallant and Cathleen Nelson; brothers: Willie Robinson, Earl Wallace and Tommy Leflore.

Donald is survived by his wife, Janice Leflore of the home; sons: Joseph Leflore and wife, Shelby of Antlers, Okla., and Joshua Leflore and wife, Heather of Antlers; brother, Johnny Leflore; and grandchildren: Walken Leflore, Gabriel Leflore, Elizabeth Leflore, Madelynn Leflore, Jalynn Leflore, Angelina Butler, Charity Sparks and Kaleigh Sparks; great-grandchild, Saul Diaz Ruiz; along with other relatives and friends.

Services for Donald were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Serenity Funeral Service with interment following at Soper Cemetery in Soper, Okla.

Pallbearers were Jimmy Kruger, Randy Cockrill, Aaron Cockrill, Adam Cockrill, Gavyn Gallant and Daniel Richard. Honorary pallbearer was Delbert Gallant.

Services were under the direction of Serenity Funeral Service and Crematory in Antlers, Okla.
