Family-led memorial services for Dorothy Paulette Lee, of Hugo, Okla., will be held at 11 a.m. Nov. 6, 2021 at Shoals Baptist Church in Hugo. Dorothy passed away Oct. 17, 2021, at the age of 75.

Dorothy Paulette Lee was born in Paris, Texas, on July 10, 1946, to John Simpson and Pauline Willis. She was a lifelong resident of Hugo and married the love of her life, Jim Lee on May 23, 1965 in Hugo. He preceded her in death on Sept. 7, 2021. She was also preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Mafelda Thorne and husband, Helena McCoin and husband, E.Y. Throne and husband, Betty Morgan; brothers: Morgan Simpson and wife, Dick Simpson and wife, Jim Simpson and wife, Chester Simpson and wife, Bob Simpson, Luke Simpson, Willie Neal Martin and Bobby Sutton

Paulette was a homemaker and took great pride in making her house a home for her husband and children. She enjoyed reading and working in her garden. Paulette will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Paulette is survived by her son, John Lee of Hugo; daughter, Paula Lee of Fort Towson, Okla.; three grandchildren, a great-granddaughter; sisters: Sally Pryor of Bridgeport, Texas, and Bonita Sutton of Mineola, Texas, along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.

Bro. Ken Livingston will officiate the service, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
