Ray was an Army Veteran and loved his country. Early on in his life he worked in the cotton gin industry. After years of doing this, he changed to doing what he loved most: selling life insurance. He loved people and enjoyed being able to help them. One of the many things he loved to do was drink coffee. His favorite thing to do was to go to the local coffee shop and visit with all the locals.
He sold many insurance policies there! He also loved music, especially gospel music. He played the guitar and loved playing his harmonica. Ray was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was always up for a little “huntin” and “fishin!” He passed his love for these onto his children and grandchildren. He also loved donating to the Choctaw Nation! Ray had a great zest for life and lived it to the fullest.
Services were under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
