Gerald Douglas Daniels
Gerald Douglas Daniels, of Boswell, Okla., passed away on March 24, 2026, at the age of 79, in Durant, Okla.
Born in Bennington, Okla., to Arvel and Jalasca (Pamplin) Daniels on Oct. 11, 1946, Gerald grew up with a love for the outdoors and a deep connection to his community, living most of his life in the Unger area.
After working at the glove factory, he also worked a number of years as a welder at HayVan Manufacturing. He then spent many years serving the Boswell Public Schools as a bus driver and maintenance technician.
Gerald is survived by two of his children: his son, Jacob Daniels of Boswell, and his daughter, Melissa Gallagher of Sawyer, Okla. His memory will also be treasured by his five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Justin Daniels; his sisters: Janette Johnson and Patsy Sherefield; his brother, Jimmy Daniels; and stepfather, Lloyd Sample.
Gerald’s family held a Gathering of Remembrance on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at the Prater- Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel in Hugo.
Services were under the direction of Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home.

Ezekiel will be remembered for his joyful spirit, his endless energy, and the deep love he had for his family. His presence was a gift, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Ezekiel’s daycare team: Amanda, Kim, Tatum, Jody and Ashley.
Ezekiel is survived by his parents; siblings: Isiah, Xzaviar, Sky-Lynn, Nova, Tabor, Charlotte and Carolina; grandparents: Doug and Georgia Graham; grandmother, Misty McKee; great-grandparent, Raymond Sweeden; aunts and uncles: Matthew Graham, Douglas Graham, Rylan Graham, Annabel Graham, Jaxon Graham, Dusty Graham and Alex Martinez; cousins: Raylee Graham, Walker Graham “Chuncky,” Summer and Matthew Graham Jr., Payton Graham, Douglas Graham, Brylee Graham, Kaston Graham and Kanton Graham, along with a host of family, friends and loved ones.
Pastor Kelley Clark will officiate the services, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
