Funeral services for Jack Frost were held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 10, 2023 at Clayton Avenue Baptist Church, 210 N. H St. in Hugo, Okla., with Dr. Deaton officiating. Burial followed at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Jack passed away Friday, July 7, 2023, in Paris, Texas, at the age of 82.

Jack Frost was born Sept. 23, 1940, in Frogville, Okla., the son of Thomas J. and Anna Lee (Stephenson) Frost. He graduated from Hugo High School. He married Joyce Stephenson on Aug. 11, 1961 in Hugo. Jack retired from Texas Instruments. He worked there for many years in Dallas and Sherman. He worked at IMCO in Garland, Texas. He also worked for Choctaw Nation and ran the Hugo and Atoka auger tooling manufacturing plants. He enjoyed rebuilding old cars, fishing, camping and boating. He loved making hay on the farm and driving the tractors. He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings: William Frost, Oscar Frost, Josephine Frost Collins, Herbert Frost, T.J. Frost, Charles Frost, Bobby Frost. Jack is survived by his wife, Joyce Frost of the home; children: Robert Frost and wife of Sherman, Texas, LeAnne Frost and husband of Austin, Texas; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements were trusted to Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home, Hugo.
