Karen Sue “Susie” Titsworth

A family-lead memorial service for Karen Sue “Susie” Titsworth, of Norman, Okla., will be held at 10 a.m. Sept. 9, 2023 at Raymond Gary State Park in Fort Towson, Okla.

Karen Sue “Susie” Titsworth was born on Sept. 11, 1975, the daughter of Donald Joe Titsworth and Karen Armstrong Titsworth in Hugo, Okla. She was called home on July 24, 2023, at the age of 47. She was preceded in death by her father; grandparents; great-grandparents; an uncle and brother, Bruce.

Susie lived in Hugo, Okla., until 1985, when she moved with her mother to Norman, Okla. She graduated in 1995 and worked at J.D. McCarty all through high school, and after until 1999. She then moved to Soper, Okla., and worked for Dr. Herbert Rowland at Antlers Clinic until 2006. Susie then worked with her mother at Soper Cafe until 2012. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her mother, Karen of Soper; stepmother, Dolores of Bennington, Okla.; son, Hayden and wife of Kilgore, Texas; daughter, Harlee of Norman; brother, Benny Gailand and wife of Hugo; sisters: Robin and Marsha of Bonham, Texas; two aunts, a cousin; five grandchildren, along with a host of family, friends and loved ones.
