Lila Kemp

Lila Kemp, of Fort Townson, Okla., passed away peacefully on Oct. 19, 2024, at the age of 75. Lila was born on Dec. 4, 1948 in Talihina, Okla., to Simon Lewis and Ora Mae Wright Tims. Lila could always be found in her kitchen cooking for her loved ones. Lila also found passion in singing and playing the piano.

Lila is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Kemp; and her son, Joseph Kemp; her sister, Wanna Moore; a nephew and a great-grandson. Lila is proceeded in death by her husband, Wilmer Kemp; her son, Warren Kemp, both parents and two sisters.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, 2024 at Mt. Olive Funeral Home Chapel.
