Lisa Clark
Elizabeth Clark, fondly known as Lisa, a strong woman of love and faith, peacefully passed away on May 27, 2025 in Austin, Ark., at the age of 72. Born on Nov. 19, 1952 in Bakersfield, Calif., Lisa’s life was a testament to her enduring love for her family and her unwavering commitment to her faith.
Lisa was the heart of her family, a devoted mother to her sons: Randy Lee and wife, Quandi, Darrell Lyn and Jeffrey Leon. Her gentle guidance and unconditional love shaped the lives of her beloved grandchildren who knew her as MeMa: James, Brendan, Rebekah, Nathaniel, Terral Barnes, William Anderson and Trey Mendenhall, and her cherished great-grandchildren: Ryder, Kyra, Kaiden, Grayson, Matias and Meadow.
In the company of her siblings: Anthony and Harold Ramos, Barbra Forest, Loretta Owens and Rhonda Draper, Lisa found joy and kinship. She carried on the legacy of love instilled by her late husband, Leonard Clark; her parents, Jose Jesus and Bessie Irene Ramos, and treasured the memories of her departed brother, Larry Micheals; sister, Kay Frick, and great-granddaughter, Hazel May Clark.
Lisa’s passion as the mother of the home was only second to her dedication to her community, where she was known for her loving, thoughtful, and faith-filled nature. Her creative spirit expressed itself through her talents in home decorating, listening to music, crafting web page graphics, sewing and crocheting –– each a reflection of her nurturing soul.
Her commitment to loving God was unwavering and inspired all those around her. Lisa’s life was a beautiful tapestry woven with devout faith and loving relationships, and her legacy will continue to influence and guide her family for generations to come. Lisa’s presence was a gift to all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed and forever celebrated. As we bid farewell to this remarkable woman, we take comfort in the knowledge that her spirit lives on in the hearts of her family and friends, manifesting in acts of love and kindness that ripple through their lives. May we find solace in the memories of Lisa’s extraordinary life as we remember the warmth of her smile, the kindness in her eyes, and the gentleness of her touch. Her story is one of love, devotion, and unwavering faith –– a story that will be lovingly recounted for years to come. Rest in peace, Lisa, your light will forever shine in the myriad of lives you’ve touched.
Graveside services were held on Saturday, May 31, 2025 in the Clark Family Cemetery, under the direction of Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home.
