Lonnie Lynn McClanahan

Graveside services for Lonnie Lynn McClanahan, of Hugo, Okla., were held at 10 a.m. Nov. 23, 2020 at Fort Towson Cemetery. Lonnie passed away Nov. 19, 2020, at the age of 68.

Lonnie Lynn McClanahan was born on Oct. 24, 1952 in Borger, Texas, to Lewis and Fay Gilchrest McClanahan. He was preceded in death by his mother; brothers: Preston McClanahan and Adam McClanahan and a grandson.

Lonnie married Linda Shaffer in Denver, Colo., on July 31, 1971. He loved his family beyond measure and enjoyed spending time with his grandsons and taking them to the woods. Lonnie enjoyed fishing and working on projects around the house. He also loved going to the casino.

Lonnie is survived by his wife, Linda; daughters: Victoria McClanahan of Hugo and Connie Hallberg and husband of Iowa; brothers: David McClanahan of Lubbock, Texas, Jack McClanahan of Oklahoma; sisters: Sondra Scott of Lubbock, Texas, Tonya Day of Fort Towson and Bobbie Moore of Sawyer; two grandchildren, along with a host of other family friends and loved ones.

Bro. Mike Bryant officiated the service, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
