Marian Lee Masters, known by most as Leisa, of Hugo, Okla., was born on Feb. 14, 1950, the daughter of Nolen and Marie Eudy. She passed away Jan. 30, 2023, at the age of 72. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Leisa married the summer of 1970 and was the mother of three daughters. She lived a life of “being there” and a life filled with some amazing times where she was able to laugh and dance and be proud of who she was. Leisa also lived through many sad moments where she traveled the road of disappointment and bitterness; however, she never failed to “be there.”

Leisa worked more than 20 years at Weyerhaeuser in Wright City in various office positions. She had many friends throughout the years, but eventually she sought out a life of solitude. As so many do in life, she made mistakes. She made bad choices; however, she was always there.

Leisa left this world Jan. 30, 2023 and is survived by her two sisters: Beverly and her husband of Richardson, Texas, Rita Eudy of Irving, Texas, and nieces and nephews, who live in Texas. Leisa leaves a legacy of her three daughters: Chrystal Winship and husband of Rufe, Stacey Williams and her husband of Rufe, and Stephanie Gidney and her husband of Blueridge, Texas; seven grandchildren. She has one great-grandson, Creed Carper.

Leisa lived her life on her own terms just as she died on them. There will be no memorial service. The family just asks that you stop and take in all the beautiful that life has to offer. Follow the path God has put before you and see at least one good thing everyday.

Arrangements are under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
