Funeral services for Mary Elisa “Lisa” Bacon, of Boswell, Okla., were held at 10 a.m. Aug. 9, 2024 at Victory Life Church in Boswell. She passed away Aug. 6, 2024, at the age of 60.

Mary Elisa “Lisa” (Jackson) Bacon was born on March 6, 1964 in Durant, Okla., the daughter of Leonard “Pee-Wee” Jackson and Jo Ellen (Casey) Jackson. She was preceded in death by her father and a brother-in-law.

Lisa was a graduate of Bennington High School, Class of 1982. She was a proud member of the Choctaw Nation and a lifelong resident of the Boswell and Bennington area. Lisa enjoyed riding horses and keeping things neat and in order. She loved helping her husband and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Lisa loved her Lord above all things and spent numerous hours praying for others. Her passing has left a huge void in the lives of her family, but they will carry her memory in their hearts. Lisa is survived by her husband of 17 years, David “Davy” Bacon; sons: Shawnee Bacon and wife of Hugo, J.D. Bacon and wife of Boswell, Rod Bacon of Boswell, Bryan Bacon and wife of Bennington; daughters: Tandy Farris and husband of Bennington, Tiffany Segotta and husband of Bennington and Erica Norwood and husband of Boswell; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; mother, Jo Ellen Jackson of Bennington; brother, Michael Jackson of Bennington; sister, Kathy Anderson of Boswell, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and family.

Interment followed the service at Dill Family Cemetery with Bro. Brent Coffey and Bro. Jerry Cooper officiating, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
