Michael Gene Wade

Michael Gene Wade, age 62, passed away on Sept. 26, 2026 at his ranch in Frogville, Okla., with his family and close friends at his bedside. Mike recently retired from the City of Paris where he worked as Street Department Superintendent for 30 years. Survivors include: wife, Sonja Wade; son, Cody Wade and wife, Tanya Crowe; son, Colton Wade and significant other, Ashleigh Pope, along with numerous nieces and one nephew.

Per his wishes, no formal service will be conducted. There will be a Celebration of Life from 1 to 9 p.m. Oct. 3, 2026 at CelebrateIT, 4195 Pine Mill Rd, Paris, TX. Come and go, or stay all day. Memorial arrangements are under the direction of Prater- Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home in Hugo.
