Miles Robert “Bob” Kerr, of Boswell, Okla., passed away Oct. 10, 2024, at the age of 75.

Miles Robert “Bob” Kerr was born on Oct. 14, 1948 in Bakersfield, Calif., the son of Miles Robert Kerr, Sr. and Frances “Tuffy” (Hendrix) Ochoa. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Tom Brents; sisters: Claudia Riley and Carolyn Billingsly.

Bob joined the United States Marines at 20 years old and was stationed at Camp Pendleton. While there he was a guard on the brig until 1970 when he was honorably discharged. Bob then married the love of his life, Argy Kerr, on Feb. 21, 1970 in Redondo Beach, Calif. They started their life together and moved to the Boswell area in 1971.

Bob was a very talented machinist and carpenter. He worked many years for Campbell Soup and even started his own company building houses in Hugo, then later worked for Babcock and Wilcox. In his later years, Bob still enjoyed working with his hands. He enjoyed working on antique cars and motorcycles. Bob would often go to swap meets and car shows to find new projects he could tinker on. He was also a proud member of the coffee club at the Lazy Heifer in Boswell and loved to visit with friends there. Bob was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Bob is survived by his loving family; wife, Argy Kerr of the home; sons: John Kerr and wife, Laci and Christopher Kerr and wife, Heather; grandchildren: Landon Kerr, Dylan Kerr and Jaci Kerr; sisters: Ellen Eastwood, Teresa Burns and Felicia McAnaney, along with a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Arrangements are under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
