Patricia Joann (Morehead) Marsh

Funeral services for Patricia Joann (Morehead) Marsh, of Fort Towson, Okla., were held Aug. 3, 2025 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home. Patricia passed away July 30, 2025, at the age of 80.

Patricia Joann (Morehead) Marsh was born on Sept. 8, 1944 in Fort Hancock, Texas, to Joseph Phillip Morehead and Irene Winnie (Hensley) Matlock. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Patti Santillan; first husband, Jimmy Lindamood; second husband, Bill Marsh; brothers: Leroy Morehead, James Morehead, Buster Morehead; sisters: Ruby Klements, Hattie Covington, Virginia Davidson and Rosa Morehead.

Joann grew up in Messer, Okla., and was a life-long resident of Choctaw County. She was a homemaker, and her family was the cornerstone of her life. Joann enjoyed going fishing and camping; sitting around a campfire, sharing stories and laughter with her family, was something she truly enjoyed. Joann also loved hanging out with her dog, Jodie. Above all else, Joann was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. She will be greatly missed by her family and loved ones.

Joann is survived by her sons: Kenneth Lindamood, Robert Lindamood, Timmy Lindamood, Jackey Lindamood, Rickey Lindamood and Russell Lester; stepdaughter, Mentha Lawson; stepsons: Gary Marsh, Phillip Marsh and Larry Marsh; 37 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters: Juanita Pruitt, Billie Jones, Bobbie Wynn, Melinda Clark and Terrie Kaley; brothers: Wesley Morehead, Clyde Morehead and Doyle Morehead; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, friends and loved ones.

Officiating the service was Gary Hensley, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
