Funeral services for Rocky Lane Hensley, of Soper, Okla., will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 2025 at Riverside Unity in Boswell. Rocky passed away May 25, 2025, at the age of 61.

Rocky Lane Hensley was born on Sept. 23, 1963 in Naples, Texas, the son of Jack Hensley and Sarah Luedtke Hensley. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ronnie Hensley.

Rocky married the love of his life, Wanda Johnson on Nov. 16, 1983 in Idabel, Okla., and they began a life of joy and love at their home in Soper. He was employed by Choctaw County District No. 1 for more than 30 years as a dump truck driver. Rocky enjoyed hunting, fishing and cooking barbecue. He was a HAM radio extra class operator, his call sign was KD5MZY. Rocky enjoyed life and loved his family beyond measure and his passing has left a huge void in their lives. Rocky is survived by his wife of more than 41 years, Wanda Hensley of the home; daughter, Roxane Nahwooksy of Lawton, Okla.; brother, Gary Hensley of Marietta, Texas, along with a host of friends, family and loved ones. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2025 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home in Hugo. Bro. Tim Harless will officiate the service, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
