Ruthie Mae (Hall) Smith

Ruthie Mae (Hall) Smith, of Oklahoma City, formerly of Hugo, passed away Sept. 13, 2024, at the age of 78.

Ruthie was born in this area on Oct. 12, 1945, to Mr. George and Emma Hall. She was one of 15 children and was better known to family and friends as Chockie. She was married to Lethel Smith, Jr. for 38 years.

Surviving relatives include: her husband, Lethel Smith, Jr.; sons: Ricky Smith and Kelvin Young; daughters: Reva Clark and Leslie Berry; sisters: Evelina Everidge, Ella Akins, Doris Hall and Mary Jefferson.

Memorial services will be held at a later date at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Rogan Funeral Home.
