Thomas Don Keeling

Memorial services for Thomas Don Keeling, of Valliant, Okla., were held Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2026 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home.

Thomas Don Keeling, 68, passed on from this life on Sept. 25, 2026, at his residence in Valliant. He was born on Dec. 18, 1957 in Idabel, Okla., the son of Thomas William “T.W.” Keeling and Joyce Evelyn (Williamson) Keeling. Don was preceded in death by parents; his beloved wife, Sharon Kay (Frady) Keeling; and brother, Jerry Keeling.

Don was a life long resident of McCurtain County. In his younger years, he worked at the saw mills and on shut downs. He later successfully completed his OSHA 10-hour training in accordance with OSHA CFR and received his Instrument Fitter certification. This allowed Don to go to work with his brother, Dale. They traveled together all over the country doing different jobs, but they always returned home to McCurtain County.

Beyond his professional career, Don was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and most of all, spending time with his family and friends. Don always enjoyed life to the fullest and his family will cherish his memory in their hearts forever.

Don is survived by his loving family; children: Timothy Solly and Kendra Brock both of Lufkin, Texas; brother, Dale Keeling of Valliant; sister, Janice Callahan of Idabel; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Services are under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
