Vanessa Olivia Scroggins-Teague

Homegoing services for Vanessa Olivia Scroggins-Teague were held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2020 at the Galilee Church of God in Christ in Hugo, Okla.

Vanessa was born on April 19, 1959 in Tempe, Ariz., to Helen Scroggins and Willie Lee. Vanessa passed away Nov. 9, 2020, at the age of 61. She was preceded in death by her brother, Melvin “Bo” Scroggins and her sister, Shirley Babb, both of Hugo.

Vanessa was survived by her husband, Joe Keith Teague; mother, Helen Scroggins; daughters: Annjavetta Johnson, Andrea Scroggins and Reba Scroggins; son, Taurean Harrington; sisters: Linda Mims, Sharon Wrice and Thelma Wardell; brothers: Ronnie Scroggins and Delano Scroggins; nine granddaughters; three grandsons, and a host of great-grandkids, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
