Verleda (Holiday) Christian

Funeral services for Verleda (Holiday) Christian, of Rowlett, Texas, formerly of Gay, Oklahoma., will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2023 at South Central District Building in Hugo. Verleda passed away March 25, 2023.

Surviving relatives include: her husband, Robert Christian; one son, Michael Wallace; and one stepson, Robert Christian, Jr.; her mother, Ruthie Holiday; two brothers: Karey Lee and Billy Ray Holiday; four sisters: Gertha Horn, Linda Buckner, Demetria Holiday and Cathy Holiday; five grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Interment will follow the service at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Pastor Alonzo Johnson officiating, under the direction of Rogan Funeral Home.
