Walter Lee Coleman

Funeral services for Walter Lee Coleman, of Hugo, Okla., will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023 at Rogan Funeral Home Chapel. Walter passed away Sept. 5, 2023, at the age of 75.

Walter was born July 17, 1948. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp from June 1967 to May 1973, and completed his service with an honorable discharge and a Purple Heart.

Surviving relatives include: son, Darrell Wafer and daughters: Tameka Coleman and Melissa Coleman; mother, Alberta Coleman; brothers: Roy Paul Coleman, James Coleman and John Coleman; sisters: Arnetta Dangerfield, Patricia Barrera, Thelma Jones, Ann Harris and Carrie Cravin; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Interment will follow the service at Speer Cemetery with the Rev. Roy Paul Brown, Jr. officiating, under the direction of Rogan Funeral Home.
