My father began writing this column called “To The Point” about the time I was born. Let’s just say more than 65 years ago.

He was glad to surrender the column to me back in the 1980s as I assumed publishing responsibilities.

While I don’t have any intention of changing the name, I think another good column title right now would be:

“I never thought I’d live to see the day...”
