When it comes to celebrating Constitution Day, it may be considered atypical to think of the Declaration of Independence. After all, the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence were two separate documents authored 11 years apart, written for two very distinct reasons, and penned by different authors.

With 50 days remaining before the November national elections, political rhetoric continues to ratchet into the red. It’s interesting that out here in the Heartland, most significant state races are already decided, as incumbents often do not draw opponents.

FORT WORTH, Texas — American Airlines today announced nearly 500 new aviation maintenance jobs and additional lines of heavy maintenance work at the carrier’s maintenance bases in Charlotte, N.C.; Pittsburgh; and Tulsa.
