The Fort Towson 4-H forestry Judging Junior and Senior teams won District and State contests at Little River Park on Pine Creek Lake and Eastern State College. 4-H members had to take tests over general forestry knowledge, identify insects and disease, participate in compass and pacing, identify trees and tell how they are used in Oklahoma, and measure saw logs.

WILBURTON –– Eastern Oklahoma State College has announced honor rolls for the fall 2024 semester. There were 105 students named to the President’s Honor Roll, which requires a 4.0 grade point average in 12 or more credit hours during the semester.

MAGNOLIA, Ark –– Chaney Ray Williams earned a 4.0 GPA in the spring 2024 semester, securing a reputable position on Southern Arkansas University’s President’s List. Williams is a sophomore Computer Science (Gaming and Animation Design) major from Ringold, Okla.
