OKLAHOMA CITY –– The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine has been authorized by U.S. authorities for use in adolescents ages 12-15.

OKLAHOMA CITY –– Oklahoma is now the 25th state in the nation to enact legislation allowing the use of electronic titles and liens for vehicles, boats, trailers and farm equipment. Senate Bill 998, authored by Sen. Rob Standridge, R-Norman, and Rep. Mike Osburn, R-Edmond, was approved by Gov. Kevin Stitt on Friday and takes effect Nov. 1, 2021.

It is not a good forecast at all for this area with showers and thunderstorms possible every day this week even into the weekend. Severe storms could be a threat from time to time as well as very heavy rainfall with flooding possibilities. High temperatures will be mostly in the midto-upper 70s and dropping into the mid-60s at night. Keep up with the weather each day since the threat of severe weather and flooding will be above normal.

THE RATTAN RAMS won the first Class A State playoff round against Tushka, 7-5, but we lost the semifinal game to Ft. Cobb-Broxton by a score of 6-5. Ft. Cobb-Broxton went on to beat Wister in the Championship game by a score of 8-1. The Rattan Rams won the Class A Academic State Championship trophy with a GPA of 3.938.
