Wayne (Sarge) Engelking, of Fort Towson, Okla., passed away on Oct. 17, 2021 in the VA Hospital in Bonham, Texas.

Funeral services for Terry Tims, of Hugo, Okla., were held at 11 a.m. Oct.

Celebration of life for John Howser was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 17, 2021 at The Church –– Garvin, Okla., with Pastor Brent Coffey and Pastor Mike Bryant officiating. Burial followed at Springs Chapel Cemetery. John went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2021, in Plano, Texas, at the age of 61.

James Jonathan “John” Bacon was born Nov. 20, 1971 in Talihina, Okla., the son of Jimmy Bacon and Mary Jane (Roberts) Bacon and had lived all of his life in Boswell. His parents preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Scotty Bacon; sister, D’Esta Hull, and a grandson.

Burial will follow at the Moore Cemetery in Clarita, Okla. Terry passed away Monday, Oct. 11, 2021, in Hugo, Okla., at the age of 65.

Jimmy Dewayne Mitchell, of Hugo, Okla., was born Dec. 20, 1962 in Oklahoma City, Okla., to Harry “Pete” and Pecora Scott Mitchell. He passed away Oct. 10, 2021, at the age of 58. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Richard Mitchell and sisters: Freddie Mitchell and Victoria Cole.
