She was the cherished child of Fred Leonard Awtry and Eva Lee (Williams) Awtry Bolding born in Wichita Falls, Texas, on Aug. 16, 1939. Evelyn married her sweetheart, Frank Converse, Sr. on Feb. 4, 1960, in San Francisco, Calif.
