Funeral services for Catherine Louise Fuller will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, 2022, at the Archey Baptist Church in Soper, Okla., with Tim Harless and Kelly Clark officiating. Burial will follow at the Sugar Creek Cemetery in Soper. Catherine passed away Saturday, Aug. 27, 2022, in Paris, Texas, at the age of 85.

Graveside services for Martha Louise Green, of Hugo, Okla., will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, 2022 at Grant Cemetery. Martha passed away Aug. 29, 2022, at the age of 81. Martha Louise Green, 81, was born in Mansfield, La., the daughter of Daniel Jackson Kinard and LaVader (Burrow) Kinard. She married Charles Ray Green in 1960, he preceded her in death along with her parents and brothers: Dixon Kinard, Dallas Kinard, Billy Kinard and Roy Kinard.

Johnny Vester Briley was born to Hosie Briley, Sr., and Ernestine Briley on April 29, 1948 in Valliant, Okla. He met and married the love of his life, Pamela Jones on March 16, 1990. To this union two daughters were born: Kristen Cheyenne Briley and Amber J’oLessa Briley; two stepchildren: Rodriguez Jones and Modriguez Jones.

Celebration of service for Jimmy Howell Holmes will be held Friday, Aug. 26, 2022, at the First United Church in Hugo, Okla., with the Rev. Dr. Carol Txipama officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hugo. Jimmy went to be with the Lord Friday, Aug. 19, 2022, in Sawyer, Okla., the age of 80.

Virgil Freeman Young, age 80, passed from this life on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022 at Cornerstone Hospital in Muskogee, Okla. He was born on July 28, 1942 in Hugo, Okla., to Joel Daniel Young and Dorothy (Davidson) Young. Virgil was a U.S. Army veteran and served as a medic/clerk. He was stationed in Germany from 1963 to 1965. Virgil was an avid farmer and rancher in periods of his life. He worked as a welder and real estate agent and was always successful in his endeavors. His most prized occupation was that of father, grandfather and greatgrandfather. He was very successful in that occupation as we all know.

On Aug 18, 2022, Sheri Ann Brooks Jeter closed her eyes for the final time on earth, and opened them to gaze on her Lord Jesus Christ. After a 10 year battle with cancer, she is now fully healed and reunited with loved ones in Heaven.
