The Choctaw Nation Summer Food Service Program will continue its beneficial program of meal distribution to children across southeastern Oklahoma this summer. “We are pleased to offer multiple opportunities for children to get a nutritious meal this summer,” says Shelly Rector, senior director of USDA food and nutrition programs for Choctaw Nation.

YOUTHPOWER ENERGY CAMP 2024 CAMP INFORMATION YouthPower Energy Camp is designed to help develop leadership skills, have summertime fun, and at the same time learn about one of rural America’s most important industries –– rural electrification. This is a yearly, weeklong summer camp where campers experience electricity in a new light! Each year, more than 80 students across Oklahoma participate.
