Funeral services for Evelyn (Kent) Graves were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 26, 2021 at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hugo, Okla., at the Bill Darrough Pavilion, with Bro. Jim Staggs officiating. Evelyn passed away Monday, Aug. 23, 2021, in Hugo, Okla., at the age of 94.

Darla Jean Dalke Shadid was born on May 27, 1963 at Lemoore Naval Air Station in California to Marjorie Jean Palmer-Dalke and George Dean Dalke. She was the youngest of three children. Darla, along with her mom, dad, sister Betty Jo, and brother Earl lived in Hanford, Calif., during Darla’s early childhood. Darla’s father, George, served in the United States Navy until his retirement and was then employed by the 3M Company in Weatherford, Okla. Darla’s mother, Marge, was employed in the restaurant business and later managed a restaurant and cabins in South Fork, Colo.

Therman Trapp, age 82, of Sawyer, went to be with the Lord on Aug. 15, 2021. Therman was born on Sept. 25, 1938 in Hugo, Okla., to William Henry and Velma Cowley Trapp. He had lived in this area all of his life

Funeral services for Fredalene Wanda Holder, of Soper, Okla., were held at 10 a.m. Aug.

Janet Lee Erwin was born on July 30, 1963 in Stockton, Calif., to Glen McWhirter and Patricia Casey (Spurgin). She was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Wayne McWhirter and her stepfather, Joe Casey.

Funeral services for Cornelia Wilson, of Hugo, Okla., will be at 2 p.m. Aug.

Patricia Mae (Mills) Chandler passed from this life at her home in Spencerville, Okla., on Aug. 18, 2021, at the age of 80. She was born on Sept. 6, 1940 in Denton, Texas, to Buster and Alta Mae (Harris) Mills.

Graveside services for Rosetta Caston were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 22, 2021 at the Grant Cemetery in Grant, Okla., with Keithen Brown officiating. Rosetta went to be with the Lord on Friday, Aug. 20, 2021, in Paris, Texas, at the age of 85.
