Born on the last day of 1990 in Paris, Texas, Kevin embraced the world with open arms until his untimely departure on Aug. 22, 2024 in Calera, Okla., following a car accident. He was a man whose courage and friendliness knew no bounds, and his absence will be felt deeply by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Brethren, today we gather in both sorrow and celebration to honor the homegoing of a beloved child of God, Soveida Harlin, known affectionately as Sophie to her friends and family. Born on Feb. 7, 1944 in the warm and welcoming town of Sinton, Texas, Soveida was a beacon of love and gentleness throughout her blessed 80 years of life. On Aug. 15, 2024 in the peaceful town of Denison, Texas, the Lord called our dear Soveida home, and she departed from this world, leaving behind a legacy of love and selflessness.

Tommy Joe Crane

Tommy Joe Crane, 79, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2024 at the OU Medical Hospital in Oklahoma City, Okla. He was born on March 26, 1945 in Hugo, Okla., to the late Harry Leo Crane and Ruth Inez Furr Crane. Tommy was raised in Hugo where he graduated from Hugo High School. After graduation he joined the United States Air Force and received an honorable discharge in 1967. Tommy attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University for three years and worked several jobs before going to work for Clint Williams Co., retiring after 35 years. He married Rosa Lee Howard on July 26, 2008 in Ringling, Okla. Tommy was affiliated with the Baptist church, and he enjoyed reading, fishing, watching basketball, baseball, football. He was very proud of all his grandkids and all their accomplishments through school. He told his wife Rosie they have a beautiful family and how much he loves them.
