She married the love of her life, Garland Boykin, in 1951, and they were together until his passing in 2017. They had four children together.

She loved everyone she met, but especially loved her dogs, her flowers and her Dr. Pepper. Noni had the sweetest smile and biggest heart and will be so missed by those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband, Gene Cooksey of Ringold; sisters: Phyllis Johnson of Ringold and Glenda Crawford and husband of Marianna, Fla.; nephews, nieces; step-daughter, Vicky Polk; step-sons: C.L. Cline, Curtis Cline, Chad Cline and Chan Cline and families; sistersin Funeral services for Wynona “Noni” Faye (Baldwin) Cooksey, of Ringold, Okla., will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, 2024 at Old Burwell Church of Christ in Ringold.
