Billie passed from this life on Friday, Sept. 20, 2024, while being cared for by her husband of almost 79 years, Leon Cogburn at their home together. Her family was her pride and joy.

Georgia E. Boykin, age 89, of Oklahoma City, Okla., passed away on Sunday, Sept. 15, 2024. She was born in Lone Wolf, Okla., on Sept. 3, 1935 to Dewey and Birdie (Wright) Riley. She married the love of her life, Garland Boykin, in 1951, and they were together until his passing in 2017. They had four children together.

Mary Helen O’Bannon, a cherished matriarch and beacon of love and strength, passed away peacefully on Sept. 20, 2024, at her home in Andrews, Texas, on her 90th birthday. Born on Sept. 20, 1934, in Maud, Okla., to Harry and Bonita Richburg, Mary’s life was a testament to the power of love and devotion.

Donald G. Furr, a faithful servant of the Lord and a cherished pillar of the Hugo community, was called home to glory on Sept. 12, 2024, at the age of 83. Born on April 1, 1941, in the humble town of Messer, Okla., Donald grew into a man of strength and integrity. His final moments were peaceful as he passed away surrounded by the love of his family in Hugo, Okla.

Roy Kenneth Chandler was born Saturday, Feb. 13, 1937 in Boswell, Okla., to Roy Thomas Chandler and Anice Corene (Draper) Chandler. Kenneth passed from this life on Friday, Sep. 13, 2024 in Denison, Texas, at the age of 87.

She loved everyone she met, but especially loved her dogs, her flowers and her Dr. Pepper. Noni had the sweetest smile and biggest heart and will be so missed by those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband, Gene Cooksey of Ringold; sisters: Phyllis Johnson of Ringold and Glenda Crawford and husband of Marianna, Fla.; nephews, nieces; step-daughter, Vicky Polk; step-sons: C.L.
