In January, HMS held the First Semester Academic Awards Assembly. Winners include: Perfect Attendance - First Semester: Elijah Calvin.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) reminds rural communities, farmers and ranchers, families and small businesses affected by the recent winter storms that USDA has programs that provide assistance. USDA staff in the regional, state and county offices are prepared with a variety of program flexibilities and other assistance to residents, agricultural producers and impacted communities.

THE PROJECT LIT Book Club, made up of students and staff, recently finished their January book, “Ghost Boys.” The Project LIT Book Club is led by Mrs. Cody, the seventh grade ELA teacher. Book club members are already reading and discussing the February book and deciding on March’s book.
