OKLAHOMA CITY –– Reps. Frank Lucas (OK-03), Tom Cole (OK-04), Markwayne Mullin (OK- 02) and Stephanie Bice (OK-05) joined 47 other members of Congress in sending a bipartisan letter to U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland June 8. The letter requests the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) provide an update or final report on its investigation into potential anticompetitive behavior within the beef industry.

Minnie Mae (Dutton) Weatherford went to be with the Lord on June 10, 2021, in Calera, Okla., with her family by her side, at the age of 88. Funeral services for Minnie Weatherford were held at 2 p.m.

Celebration of life for Georgia Dana Antwine, fondly known as “Dana,” were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at the Riverside Unity Church in Boswell, Okla., with the Rev. Tim Harless officiating. Burial followed at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hugo. Dana went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 14, 2021, in Plano, Texas, at the age of 74.
