Body of man found south of Hugo Dam

CHOCTAW COUNTY –– The body of an unidentified white male was recovered Sunday, south of the Hugo Dam on Kiamichi River. According to reports from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the body was located around 6:30 p.m.

The Valliant 8U coach pitch All Star Team made up of boys from Rattan and Valliant traveled to Mt.Vernon, Texas, this past weekend to compete in the Dixie Youth District Tournament (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). Going into Sunday’s games the boys were undefeated.
