BOSWELL — The Boswell Scorpions split games last week with Rock Creek with the ladies falling 69-33 and the boys winning, 47-36. Tarrin Brown led the Scorpions with 24 points, followed by Tabor Ribera with eight, Daxter Thomas seven, Marlo Hill five, and Tallin Brown three.

Constitutional Amendment Would Reform and Replace Oklahoma’s Closed Primaries OKLAHOMA CITY — An initiative petition was filed in Oklahoma City Monday that proposes to reform and replace the state’s current closed primary election system with open primaries. In an open primary, all voters — regardless of party — would be able to vote in a single primary election in which all candidates appear on one ballot. The top two votegetters move on to a general election.
