Constitutional Amendment Would Reform and Replace Oklahoma’s Closed Primaries OKLAHOMA CITY — An initiative petition was filed in Oklahoma City Monday that proposes to reform and replace the state’s current closed primary election system with open primaries. In an open primary, all voters — regardless of party — would be able to vote in a single primary election in which all candidates appear on one ballot. The top two votegetters move on to a general election.

MUSKOGEE — The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced that Armondo Joseph Palma, age 22, and Brooklyn Elaine Wilson, age 27, of Howe, Oklahoma, entered guilty pleas related to the sexual abuse of a minor.
