The Fort Towson 4-H Club has been very busy this school year. The members served teachers food during National 4-H Week, made Christmas and Valentine cards for three different nursing homes, have been showing their animals and livestock shows and much more.

Kiamichi Conservation District announces Cost-Share assistance available to benefit soil and water

The Kiamichi Conservation District has announced that funds are available for cost-share assistance on selected conservation practices benefiting conservation. The State of Oklahoma has provided limited funds to our conservation district to help landowners implement measures that will help conservation.

Martha Gann to replace SEOLS board chair after his recent arrest

The Southeast Oklahoma Library System (SEOLS) has been made aware of a warrant enforced recently that resulted in the arrest of current SEOLS Board Chair, Don Holt. The Southeast Oklahoma Library System stands firmly behind law enforcement efforts and will cooperate fully with any inquiries from law enforcement related to this matter.
