Graveside services for Ila Marie (Clark) Wall, of Soper, Okla., were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023 Sugar Creek Cemetery in Soper.

Ila Marie (Clark) Wall, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, went to her heavenly home on Nov. 3, 2023, at the age of 66.

Ila was born on July 21, 1957 in Hugo, Okla., the daughter of Jessie “Corky” Clark and Margaret (Gallagher) Clark. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers: Mike Clark and Carl Clark.

Ila married the love of her life, David Wall, on April 30, 1988 in Hugo. Ila enjoyed canning vegetables, looking for a good bargain at garage sales and going fishing. She also loved playing bingo any chance she could. Ila was a true homemaker and the matriarch of her family, caring for them was her greatest joy. Ila was always there to support them, whether that was going to the grandkids’ ball games or being the best “supervisor” around with any project. She was “Granny” to all of the kids in Soper. Ila was a loving and caring woman to all who knew and loved her. She was the glue that held her family together and although her passing has left a void in her family’s life, her memory will live on through them.

Ila is survived by her loving husband, David Wall; children: Nathan Clark and wife of Antlers, Okla., Bobby Bridges and wife of Antlers, David Bridges and wife of Antlers and Misty Bruce and husband of Soper; five grandchildren and several other grandkids; four great-grandchildren and the rest of the great-grandkids; brother, Thomas “Tiger” Songer of Tool, Texas; sisters: Jessie Kirtpatrick of Tool, Texas, and Margaret Huskins of Hugo, along with a host of other friends, family and loved ones.

Services were under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
