Michael “Mike” Dean Halcomb

Funeral services for Michael “Mike” Dean Halcomb, of Boswell, Okla., were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2024 at Old Bennington Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Michael passed away Feb. 2, 2024, at the age of 61.

Michael “Mike” Dean Halcomb was born on Oct. 5, 1962 in Durant, Okla., the son of Roy Lee and Geneva Pauline (Hampton)-Halcomb. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy; mother, Geneva and brother, Jerry Moore.

Mike was a lifelong resident of Boswell. He worked maintenance for the Choctaw Nation.

Mike loved being outdoors where he could hunt or fish and it didn’t matter what type. In his spare time, he enjoyed hanging out with his buddies, and golfing when he could. Most importantly he loved spending time with his loved ones. Mike’s passing has left a void in his family’s lives but his memory will always live on through them.

Mike is survived by his family; children: Tanner Halcomb and wife of Kingston, Okla., and Sawyer Halcomb and wife of Denison, Texas; two grandchildren; sister, Delores Marshall of Durant, Okla.; brothers: Royce Halcomb of Boswell and Denny Halcomb of Ada, Okla., along with a host of family, friends and loved ones.

Landon Jestis officiated the service, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
