BOSWELL — A Boswell man was arrested on March 4, 2020 and charged with nine felony counts including seven counts of possession of stolen vehicle, one count of unlawful possession of controlled drug with intent to distribute (marijuana) and possess firearm during commission of a felony.

Hugo council raises fines for property code violations

HUGO — At their March 19 meeting, members of the Hugo city council voted to increase fines to property owners who refuse to clean up their property in compliance with standard municipal codes. Hugo Code Enforcement Officer Teshumbe Bills told the council he continued to have some property owners who refused to clean up their property and suggested the council raise the second-offense fine amount as well.
