Hugo city-wide fall cleanup will be held Oct. 22-23. All items must be taken to the landfill on S. Eighth St., across from the bypass from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Curbside pickup is available to the very elderly and handicapped only, by calling 580.326.2344 before noon on Thursday, Oct. 21. No hazardous waste allowed, such as paint, batteries, tires, etc. Must have a copy of current city of Hugo water bill.

Students at Fort Towson create ‘Esports’ team

Fort Towson has officially started the first OSSAA-sanctioned “Esports” team. Esports, short for electronic sports, is a collective term that describes organized competitive video gaming, where individuals use video game consoles, PCs or even mobile phones to play popular video games against other esports teams.
