HUGO — Last week Hugo residents Margaret Chafin and her son John brought a bit of distinction to the Choctaw Memorial Hospital family and to their own family as well, as they returned to the hospital where John was born in 1951… this time sharing a room together as COVID-19 virus patients.

Next week is Homecoming Week at Hugo Public Schools. Each campus will have themed dress-up days throughout the week with a parade to be held Tuesday, Oct.
