Today’s Scripture

Body
Today’s Scripture: “And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”

Weather Update

Body
Sunshine and heat sum up the forecast through Labor Day for Choctaw County. High temperatures will be in the 90s and I am talking 95 to 99 degrees on many afternoons and heat index well over 100. The nights will be warm with low- to mid-70s. We have no rain in the forecast through Labor Day and no major changes in this hot and dry weather pattern anytime soon.
