Hugo Public School Libraries announces it has received a $2,000 Classroom Enhancement grant from the Carolyn Watson Rural Oklahoma Community Foundation administered by the Oklahoma City Community Foundation. The grant will be used to support the Library Legends program, which will allow the Hugo Public School Libraries to provide educational opportunities that expand its students’ horizons.

The Iris Garden Club of Hugo met on Oct. 28 at the Burnside Community room. President Harolynn Wofford called the meeting to order, thanked the hostesses Joye Satterfiend and Holley Lowrance, welcomed everyone, introduced new member Jay Hinds and visitor Shelia Greer. Everyone recited the Gardeners Creed and Rick Lowrance led in prayer.
