Trial set for 2020 Sawyer double homicide

Contributing Writer Two and a half years after a double homicide in Sawyer, accused co-conspirators Ashlie Martin and Chad Voyles will soon see their days in court.

According to an indictment, Martin, Voyles and an “unindicted co-conspirator” planned the premeditated murder of Martin’s parents, Curtis Martin and Sherrie Pyron, which took place on Dec. 22, 2020.
