• New research reveals a resurgence in horticulture degree enrollments across the nation, with bachelor’s programs reaching a ten-year high in 2021. Nearly half (47%) of universities surveyed in 2024 reported increased enrollment over the past five years.

OKLAHOMA CITY — The Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry recently announced the five winners of the third annual Oklahoma Farm to School Garden Contest.

Eastern Oklahoma State College hosted a gathering on Sept. 17 aimed at advancing educational initiatives in the forestry sector, addressing the increasing demand for skilled professionals in southeastern Oklahoma and surrounding regions.
