Farmers coast to coast criticize ESA proposal

Nearly 1,500 farmers, ranchers, pesticide applicators, and agricultural producers from across the country have come together to voice strong disapproval to EPA, criticizing the agency’s Endangered Species Act herbicide strategy framework proposal. The agricultural producers, who called for withdrawal of the strategy in a letter sent to EPA, expressed grave concern over the impacts it would likely have on U.S.

Groups clash over raising Oklahoma minimum wage

The State Chamber of Oklahoma and the Oklahoma Farm Bureau are trying to keep a voter-led initiative to increase Oklahoma’s minimum wage off the ballot. Last week the groups petitioned the Oklahoma Supreme Court to reject Initiative Petition 446, which would require most Oklahoma employers to pay their workers at least $15 per hour by 2029.

Boy the weather has been nice these last few weeks! The conditions where I live were just beautiful… sunny days with average temperatures in the 60s to low 70s and little wind. It’s hard to believe that it’s the middle of November.
