Fort Towson voters will be voting on whether to approve a “Hotel Tax” of 7.5% on visitors who stay in hotels or campgrounds less than 30 consecutive days, and to elect a Town Trustee to replace a Trustee with an unexpired term.

Hugo Bank Student of the Week is Talayiza Chadrick. She is a freshman at Hugo High School and has been in band for four years. She plays the clarinet and is in color guard. Life lessons I learned from my life as an east Texas pastor. Pastors usually attended Revivals at other churches to support the other pastors and other churches, but most of all we Pastors need to be revived also to be able to 'keep our batteries charged.' Several east Texas churches in our area have revival together and they call it the HWY 205 Revival.
