1 Peter 5

Body
To the Elders and the Flock 1 To the elders among you, I appeal as a fellow elder and a witness of Christ’s sufferings who also will share in the glory to be revealed: 2 Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; 3 not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. 4 And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.

Hebrews 12

Body
1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

Opportunity Is knocking: Is Choctaw County prepared?

Choctaw County Economic Development As the new Choctaw County Economic Developer, I want to share an important message with our community. Let me start by saying that, with the new gasline, solar and other infrastructure already in the works, Southeast Oklahoma is being looked at very seriously by businesses and investors. They are studying communities like ours and deciding where the next wave of growth will land. We happen to sit in an area that is uniquely positioned near Texas, Arkansas and Louisiana.
