On or about Aug. 4, 2022, 33-year-old Caitlyn Rose Case left Houma, La., in route to Colorado. Case communicated with family members during her trip until they lost contact with her on Aug. 5, 2022. At that point, she was traveling on Hwy 271 between Paris, Texas, and Hugo, Okla.
