Today’s Scripture:

The Lord says: “These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is made up only of rules taught by men. Therefore once more I will astound these people with wonder upon wonder; the wisdom of the wise will perish, the intelligence of the intelligent will vanish.”

Former Speaker McCall carries the distinction as the longest serving Speaker in Oklahoma history. An Atoka native, he shared that he sees himself as the only “rural” candidate in the race at this time, uniquely qualified to lead all Oklahomans as Governor. Pictured are Mehlanie Adamson, McCall, Arlinda Darst, Jim White and Colby Bryant. The Choctaw County Republicans hope to have him come to Hugo again in the coming months, so those interested should follow the group at www. facebook.com/GOPChoctawCountyOK or @GOPChoctawCoOK on X.
